Training, exercise, working out, they all mean the same thing; working to better YOUR health and fitness through a sport or activity that YOU enjoy.
Some people like lifting weights, others like walking on the treadmill, and then there are people who like to play a field sport like football or basketball because that’s simply what they ENJOY.
Although there is so many ways to exercise or train, one thing remains the same; you are in it for yourself, for your own benefit and because you WANT to do it. You know that getting to where you want to be means putting in the work to get there!
JAW ambassador, Skye, is a devoted athlete who likes to regularly change it up when it comes to staying active; from F45, CrossFit, bodybuilding training to outdoor sports like stand-up paddle boarding, she likes to challenge her body and skills in a wide range of sports. So, the JAW Team sat down with Skye and asked her, 'Why do YOU train?'
“I train because for that moment in time, I can feel weak, strong, challenged, accomplished, and completely exhausted all in on session. It’s my own place to push myself to my limits and feel alive. I feel privileged to have a functioning body and want to be able to push it past the comfort zone. Getting out in the sun and enjoying life while keeping my body moving feels incredible. We only get one shot here, so make it good and have a bunch of fun at the same time!
